This Mexican bunting, known as "papel picado" (or cut paper) is used as a decoration for Day of the Dead (Dia de Muertos) - the Mexican equivalent for Halloween (Nov 1st and 2nd).

The strip comes in a range of skull designs in many colours. A fun, easy and original way of decorating any room.

Although it looks laser cut, the paper is cut by Mexican artisans, who use a hammer and chisels to create the designs on stacks of tissue paper. We work directly with the artisans from Puebla, Mexico and ensure we always pay a fair price for their work and help to provide sustainable employment for the communities we work with.

- Total length 5 metres
- Length of ties at each end 20cm
- Individual flag: 49 x 38 cm or 32 x 23cm
- Each strand features 10 flags
- 100% recyclable paper

We recommend using at least 3 strips for maximum effect. The strip can be hung from any wall without nails as it's so light, even blue tack will do. Lamp posts and tree branches work just as well and they create a beautiful and soft effect.

The strip can be cut shorter if needed.  Please note bunting is not a toy, keep children away from string.
